Volunteering
A gift of generosity we called “Offering.”
With the motivation to benefit others, we offer our services and expertise, and you can, too!
Why Offer?
The existence of Dagom Geden Kunkyobl Ling depends on the generosity of others, which in turn creates and ensures a peaceful world. Whether one offers services at the Monastery or volunteers from home, the perfect motivation is to benefit others and support the Monastery, “a place of refuge that quells the turbulent sea of suffering.”
This form of karma yoga allows us to share the Dharma, form connections with members of the monastic sangha, and make new Dharma friends.

Many Ways to Help
Gardening
We always need help with the gardens, which delight our neighbors and visitors. We especially need assistance during the beginning of spring and the approaching winter months—weeding, cutting grass, potting, and planting.
Media Editing
We often need graphic design, video editing, and other digital and social media assistance.
Transcribing, Editing, and Translating
Please help us spread Dharma teachings globally!
Offer Your Expertise
You can help with your unique skills and expertise—from accounting to cooking.
Volunteer at the Monastery
We welcome help with cleaning, organizing, and editing. Graphic designers, photographers, and those with computing, accounting, and social media expertise are also valuable contributors.
Maintaining the property’s exterior is essential, and there’s plenty to do! The flower gardens always need attention—weeding, potting, or planting. We are happy to teach you if you’d like to.
These are some suggestions, but there is no end to the possibilities for volunteering. See what we need, or contact us to offer your skills.
Volunteer from Home
Volunteers could perform important activities from home. Some conceivable tasks are graphic design, proofreading, transcribing teachings, and audio and video editing.
If you have other opportunities you’d like to suggest, contact us. Please tell us the skills you’d like to offer, and we’ll take it from there.
